CPN LIBRARY “SPARE CHANGE” DRIVE RECAP

As you might remember, a few weeks ago there was a “spare change” drive to help support the Castle Pines North Library. BRE along with other schools in our area (Timber Trail, DCS Montessori, and American Academy) each contributed to the cause by asking their students and staff to donate spare change on behalf of the library. We are pleased to report that BRE raised over $800 and overall the combined effort from the four schools raised $3,760!  We should all feel proud of our efforts.

Final BREA Updates 2012-2013

Thanks to all of our amazing BRE staff and to you, our BRE families, for making this another fantastic year at BRE! With summer just over a week away, we are sending you our final BREA Update for the year. Enjoy your summer vacation and see you next school year. Below you will find information on the following:

BRE’S GOT TALENT!
A huge thanks to all those who tried out, performed in, and attended the BRE talent show this year. Once again we all had the chance to see what amazing children we have at BRE!  And for those students who didn’t have a chance to perform this year, the tradition will continue so we look forward to next year’s talent show. We also wanted to extend our thanks to Mrs. Pinkie, Mrs. Jacoway, and the BRE Dream Team for organizing and putting on this event for the entire school to enjoy!

SUPPORT BRE EVEN WHEN SCHOOL IS OUT
We wanted to remind our BRE families that during the summer, don’t forget to use your KING SOOPERS CARDS and collect your BOX TOPS!  Both of these are easy ways to help provide support to BRE. As a reminder, BRE will received 5% back from all purchases made on your King Soopers Gift Cards so remember to reload those cards at the register before you make your purchase.  FYI, your card needs to be used or it will expire – if there is no balance on the card for 90 days that causes the card to expire and you will need to buy a new card. If you need a new card before summer starts, please inquire at the front desk of BRE. Also, collect those Box Tops as we will have another Box Tops Challenge in the fall. Thanks!

Mark your calendar for these first of the year important dates: 

August 13:  First Day of School (all students – even kindies!)
August 13:  Welcome Coffee
August 24:  4th Annual BRE Stampede & Carnival
August 30:  Back to School Night
ONLINE CHECK-IN FOR 2012-2013
The first day of school is planned for Monday, August 13, to align with our entire feeder area.  Since school starts for all students on a Monday, there will be no Meet & Greet Day this year.  Online check-in will open in late July and all school forms can be completed online.  As part of online check-in this year, you will be able to register with BREA, too.  Through this process, you will be able to select your child’s class t-shirt size; submit your directory information; order directories and King Soopers cards; purchase wristbands for the BRE Stampede & Carnival; and register for the Rock Slide!  So, be on the lookout for BREA registration information during online check-in this summer.

2012-2013 School Supplies: Pre-Order Now!

PLEASE ORDER SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND HELP YOUR TEACHER AND BRE!

We have 2 options for ordering this year.
1. Order online at www.epipacks.com and use your credit card. Enter School ID BUF016. Follow directions to complete your order.
(On-line orders will be charged sales tax).
2. Return the form that was in your child’s Friday folder along with your payment. Please make checks payable to: BRE
There will be one more paper copy sent home.
All orders need to be submitted by Friday, May 4, 2012
Supplies will be in your child’s classroom on the first day of school
